Wildlife Safaris
The
Wildebeest Migration is a dramatic story. It takes place within Kenya and
Tanzania and is the greatest wildlife show on earth. Between the open plains
of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, thousands of wildebeest and zebras
migrate to greener pastures as the seasons change and the circle of life and
death continues. Predators follow the Wildebeest Migration closely, waiting
for an opportunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different
territories.
The best time to see the migration is usually between June and August when
the wildebeest congregate and prepare to cross the famous Grumeti River.
There are a few excellent camps in this area where you can stay to witness
this natural phenomenon. If you are in the Masai Mara you can expect the
wildebeest to make their arrival as early as
July, but they generally arrive between August
and September and remain in the Mara between
October and November. Between December and
January the wildebeest gradually begin their
migration back towards the Serengeti |

Beach Safaris
If you're looking for a sun-kissed Africa beach
holiday beneath a cloudless sky, then head to
the east coast of Africa: to the Indian Ocean
coast and its tropical islands – and time your
visit carefully, check the weather before you
decide where to go
What
better way to perfectly compliment safari holidays in the Kenya bush
Wildlife Safari than finishing them off by relaxing on a white sandy beach
with a sundowner? What makes Kenya so perfect for safari beach holidays is
that it is so quick and easy to travel between the two.
Relax on a tropical beach enjoying the glorious
Kenya sunshine or experience the ‘Real Africa’
and combine your Kenya holiday with our range of
1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 night safari options - it’s up
to you! Most of our safaris can be included
within a 7 or 14 night beach holiday in Kenya
allowing you the freedom and flexibility of
creating your own, very special, once in a

Kenya
accommodation options range from budget to luxury 5-star hotels, lodges,
villas and cottages. There are about 500 licensed 3-5 star hotels to choose
from. Nairobi, the capital, as w ell as the coastal city of Mombasa have
some of the best hotels in Kenya. Many of the Nairobi and Mombasa hotels
reach highest international standards in terms of facilities, service and
comfort. Kenya hotels can be grouped as either vacation hotels, town hotels,
resorts, lodges or country hotels
Each category has a rating system which is

Mount
Kenya Climbing
Mount
Kenya is located on the equator. Magnificent cliffs and glaciers protect the
highest peaks of Nelion (5188m) and Batian (5199m). The third mount Kenya
highest summit - Point Lenana, (4985m) - is also glaciated but accessible to
walkers. Tarns and alpine meadows; exotic, equatorial, high-altitude
vegetation; sunbirds, hyrax and soaring eagles make the walk around the
peaks one of the most beautiful mountain expeditions in the world. On
account of the high altitudes it is wise not to rush to the summit areas and
the very shortest trip to Lenana should allow for 3 nights. To combine this
ascent with a circumnavigation of the main peaks requires at least an extra
day. Climb mt Kenya, hike mount Kenya, trek mount Kenya, climbing routes |
